Just a reminder that we are accepting applications for Santa Barbara Youth Council. The Youth Council is a teen advisory group to the Mayor and City Council and other boards and commission and they work closely with the school district and other teen/youth service agencies on teen projects. Each month Youth Council members receive between 10-15 hours of community service – more than enough to reach their school’s requirement.
They are involved in positive activities and are provided with the best training in leadership, public speaking, advocacy. Please pass this information on to your students.
We are looking for representatives from all high schools, plus representatives from private high schools as well as alternative or independent studies.
