Good morning everyone,

We need members of our K-12 Professional Learning Community to showcase our school over the Earth Day weekend in the Kids Corner section of the Earth Day Festival. We will have a booth for our school with an Earth Day trivia wheel, Recycling Games, and an earth-friendly craft. With the help of many faculty, parents, and students, we were able to make this a success last year.

We have a unique opportunity to reach hundreds of children and parents in the Santa Barbara area and showcase the fun and earth-friendly side of Laguna Blanca School.

April 18th and 19th Alameda Park 11-7 Sat, 11-6 Sun.

Shifts of 2-3 hours would be ideal. (but any time would be greatly appreciated and very helpful)
Saturday Shifts: 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6, 6-7

Sunday Shifts: 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6, 6-7.

Please let me know if you and any of your students or family members are interested in volunteering your time for this event. This is going to be a team effort and I know it requires extra time over the weekend. We will need these volunteer slots filled BEFORE APRIL 8th. If we don’t have enough volunteers, we will have to cancel this valuable opportunity.
