We’re happy to announce that applications are now open for the 29th summer of The Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel. Each year we select a diverse group of 26 North American students in their junior year of high school for a Fellowship year experience, starting with an all-expense paid, 5-week Fellowship to Israel. They will encounter the land and people of Israel, study major issues in contemporary Jewish life, meet with some of Israel’s most influential figures, and learn about themselves and each other.

We choose our participants not on the basis of financial need but on merit alone. We encourage applications from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds; prior Jewish education is not required. All meals are kosher and group activities on the Sabbath are in keeping with the sanctity of the day.

Attached is a poster to be shared with your community. Word of mouth is our most effective recruitment method. Any means of outreach including posting on your website, in a newsletter, or on Facebook or a bulletin board will assist us in reaching students. If you plan to write a letter of reference this year, you may also enjoy watching our video featuring advice for educators.
