Jessica Dusebout, News-Page Editor of The Fourth Estate, is currently a junior at Laguna Blanca. Along with writing for the Fourth Estate, Jessica is a leader of the nonprofit organization Hands4Others (H40). She devotes much of her time to managing and organizing events for H40. On school breaks Jessica travels abroad with H40 to participate in the installation of water systems around the world. Jessica has a passion for young children and a great interest in pediatric medicine, which she explored this past summer at the University of Pennsylvania. Jessica participated in the internship program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Jessica also volunteers every week in the nursery at her church and consistently babysits. Along with her rigorous academic schedule at Laguna Blanca, Jessica plays on Laguna Blanca’s varsity volleyball team. Jessica also enjoys riding horses and skiing with her family. Jessica looks forward to being a part of the Fourth Estate’s staff again this year and is excited to continue pursuing her interest in journalism.
